Arterial Conditions and Treatments

Horizon Vascular Specialists are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. We treat conditions of the vascular system (arteries and veins) and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as arteriograms and angioplasty, as well as surgical and endovascular treatments for vascular disease. We specialize in minimally invasive techniques such as angioplasty and endovascular methods.

Major Arterial Condition Areas

  • Peripheral Artery Disease
  • Carotid Artery Disease
  • Aneurysm

When a patient is referred to us, the case is carefully reviewed by our physicians, and sometimes may include the opinion of other specialists. We will then submit the treatment plan for approval by the patient and the referring physician.

Our treatment may take only an office visit or two or may require a more in-depth treatment plan. Surgical procedures are recommended only after due consideration and input from the patient and the physician. Other situations may simply require us to observe the condition through periodic examinations and tests over a number of months or years. If this is the case, our physicians will continuously monitor the case and update the referring physician on the progress of the patient.
